Warnings, Permissions, Info, etc
Jun. 26th, 2015 03:04 pmWarning: Hannibal is a practicing cannibal at the moment. Playing with this character is likely to invite at least mentions of dark concepts, though I will never pursue violence without prior permission or implied consent.
Canon: NBC's Hannibal, with smatterings of other Thomas Harris books and head-canon.
Canon Point: Anything before or after the season finale, The Wrath of the Lamb.
AUs: Always welcome and inherent to rp, just let me know!
Plots: Ohhh yes. I love extensive plots. Hannibal adores the long game if it's worth it.
Contacting the Mun: Absolutely yes! Just PM his journal and I'll get to it asap!
Backtagging: Yes and probably necessary.
World: Hannibal takes place in modern-day earth with smartphones and tablets, etc.
Occupation/Qualifications: Psychiatrist with surgical background from medical school in Paris and residency in John Hopkins. In the books he is been said to specialize in Forensic Psychology with a high emphasis on criminology, but we have had no evidence ( that I know of ) that this is true in the show itself.
Dark Concepts: Yes please.
Fighting/Killing: Yes on fighting, killing possible but ask first.
Pre-Established Relationships: Hannibal has many colleagues but very few friends and no living relatives. Please ask before assuming any character relationships if you're not from his canon.
Romance/Shipping: Up for it, but discuss. I am open to all canon-mate shipping except for romantic relationships with Abigail. I'm sorry, but I just don't see those characters in anything but a platonic (if very toxic) relationship.
Fluff: Different, I think, from shipping. I support this for anyone where the CR seems viable.
Smut: Nothing without previous CR to back it, please, unless he is on a smut meme.
Kinks: Open to anything that is not underage or scat/watersports. I confess I've never actually written hard vore, but considering the character, I'm open to exploring it.
Triggers: I personally have no triggers, but you can expect Hannibal to not take things like rudeness kindly.
Anything Else: Ask if you're not sure!
